Hmm. Why is Trent on a health kick all of a sudden? Hasn’t he punsihed his body beyond repair anyways?

    Poor Trent. I have the same problem. Every time I get a salad bar I end up staring at the stuff available and thinking, “There’s no way that this stuff will satisfy my cravings or satisfy my hunger.” Of course, once I’ve actually made a healthy salad and eaten it I’m usually stuffed. Salad greens take up a lot of room…

    That’s what I do. Negate any and ALL nutritional benefit of a salad by piling on so much junk its now more of a meat dish.

    I’ve given up dieting. It just doesn’t work, and it makes me far more miserable than knowing I’m approaching the overweight barrier for my height.
    I’ve just decided that I love food so much that its better to enjoy myself and stay as active as possible in hopes that I can burn some off.

    Learned one thing about dieting - Height is a factor of how much you eat. It’s comparable to how much gas is put in say a Mini Cooper and a pickup truck. For a while when I was dieting I didn’t have much energy and didn’t know why. Then I discovered I was eating the right foods but not enough of it for someone my height.(6′3″)

    What a lot of people neglect about weight loss is their intestine. I recently started working out again, and while I had little fat on the exterior, I still had a belly, because of all the… well, crap I had congealed in my intestinal tract. I fasted for two weeks, the first week was just a fruit juice and green tea fast, the second week was fruits and liquids only. I also took a body cleanser and superseed for the duration. After the two weeks, not only had I lost a little extra exterior fat, I had gotten rid of 5-10 lbs of intestinal sewage.

    It’s not as hard as it sounds, and it’s really good for you.

    Interesting fact: John Wayne had 44lbs of undigested red meat in his intestines when he was autopsied. Ew.

    That’s really interesting Hapjap. What kinds of fruit juices did you drink? I’m guessing that they were the non-concentrate natural kind?

    44 lbs. huh? That’s pretty gross.

    Actually, I didn’t use my Juiceman this time around. I just bought stuff like Grapejuice and different V8 juices. I know, it’s the lazy way to do it, but I was being lazy. Heh.

    Yeah, it is gross. You ever see those guys with six-pack abs, but they still have a big ol’ gut? It’s because of all that stuck-on sewage. Nasty stuff. I still have probably 5-10 lbs to get out of my system, but I won’t be fasting again for a while probably. I like food too much. :)
